AUS-NSW-WEST Mailing List
Hotels and Publicans Licences

Western NSW 1865-1900
Part of Central NSW 1865-1870

This list has been compiled by Rusheen Craig from Publicans listed in the NSW Government Gazette. Viewers are advised to refer to the Publicans-licences-introduction page to explain the scope of the main pages
.
There are also support pages under construction that give further information on some hotels, such as newspaper reports, advertisements or other material. Where these have been uploaded they will appear as a link to that page in the first column.

There is a more extensive Introduction showing the application of the 1862 Publican's Act in Western and part of Central NSW.

Rusheen would love to hear from anyone who has any further information on these hotels, or who could provide short biographies of any of the publicans from this period. While information from other sources is appreciated, please bear in mind the restrictions imposed by copyright laws.
