This Crest was copied by John Barraclough in England - he cannot remember where. It should be viewed with a degree of scepticism - crests do not belong to a family name, ones such as this belong only to the person who has had it ganted by an approved organisation, such as the Court of Heralds. Then it belongs to that person only, not everyone of the same surname.
In recent years a number of commercial firms have made a good living by copying charts of particular people and then selling copies to other people of the same name - and this does appear to be of the same ilk. The usual dead giveaway is the surname across the top. It may or may not be an accurate depiction of the arms of a particular Barraclough in history - and if it is, we would love to know to whom it belonged. But it does remind me of a time when I fronted one of these firms, and they offered the combined arms of someone Barra and someone Clough when they could not find a Barraclough in Bourke's Peerage, which is their main reference.
But, having said that, it may provide some little interest for those who wish to view it.
