Extracts of Death Certificates originally posted to the Taulbee Pages by Mostly by Carole Bays and some by Sandy Holland. [See Taulbee List Public Archives July, 1998]
Please note the information given is only as good as the informant knew. I have found that a good part of the death certificates in our area do not match the stones or sometimes any other information found. Some certificates are completely filled out some are not. Some are delay certificates and could have been filed several months to years after the death date.
Note; while some of my copies are very bad, if you order from Frankfort, your copy may be readable. These were taken from micro film, and some of the films are so faint, I can't read them on the reader
Mitchel Spencer
b. Aug. 26, 1908 (age 36) d. June ? 1945 s/o Osa Spencer and Dora Tolson. Cause of death, the supposition is that the (__________can't read) met his death by foul play. Body found floating in the Ky river just about 1/4 mile morth of Jackson Bridge. Investigation is being made. This man had been missing from his home since some time in Feb. 1945.
