James Perry Taulbee, son of William Ashford Taulbee and Mary Jane Birchfield, was born in 1834, in Perry County, Kentucky and died on Feb 14, 1892 at the home of his brother Silas. He is buried at his brother's farm in Hillsboro, Kentucky. He married Isabelle Horton, daughter of William Horton and Mary Jane (-?-). Isabelle was born July 18, 1842 in Lee County Virginia and died February 8, 1917. She is buried in Hazel Green Cemetery.

Children of James and Isabelle:

John Will Taulbee, son of James Perry Taulbee and Isabelle Horton, was born May 4, 1858 and died in 1923 in Winchester, Kentucky. He marriedMary Jane Taylor in 1881. Mary was born in December, 1861 and died in 1944 in Winchester, Kentucky.

Children of John and Mary Jane:
1. Lula M. Taulbee was born February 22, 1882 and died May 6, 1925. She married Testerman Bach, son of Barney Bach and Susannah (-?-) on February 15, 1905 in Wolfe County, Kentucky. Testerman was born October 2, 1880.

2. Mervin Taulbee died young.

3. Maude Taulbee was born in February 1884.

4. Taylor Taulbee was born in August 1886 and died in 1930. He married Bessie Stamper, daughter of James Harlen Stamper and Lydia Robinson. Bessie was born in 1884 and died in 1958.

5. James Taulbee was born in June 1884.

6. Laura Jane Taulbee.

7. Seldon Taulbee was born in 1898. He married Betty (-?-).

8. Isabelle Taulbee was born in 1906 and died in 1926. She married Thomas G. McDavin.

Mary Jane Taulbee, daughter of James Perry Taulbee and Isabelle Horton, was born in October, 1861. She married twice: (1) Alfred Lindon on May 1, 1879. Alfred was born in 1860. (2) Samuel Cecil (Coon) Alexander in 1890. Samuel was born in September, 1859.

Children of Mary Jane and Alfred:
1. Ida Lindon was born in January, 1880.

2. James Perry Alexander  was born in 1891. He married Mary Laurene Crackle.

Children of James and Mary
Hugh Wilford Alexander was born in July, 1913. He married Betty Eaton.
