David Talby* and John Talby* appear on the Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania census in 1790. 


James Tolby* was born about 1850 in Pennsylvania. He married Mary Wallace*.


Edward Talby* was born about 1706 in England. He married Leddy Wells* at Saint Clemens Church, Cambridge, England on March 25, 1728. Leddy was born about 1707.

An Edward Talby* bought land called Molly Garden in Baltimore County, Maryland for 1,500 pounds of tobacco. I do not know if this could be the same Edward Talby.


William Tolby* married Sarah Brooks* in Maryland in 1829.

Lawrence Tolby age 25, farmer and Mary Tolby, age 25, occupation unknown, arrived at the Port of New York from Ireland via Liverpool on the Patrick Henry 5 April 1847.

Mary Tolby, age 17, a servant, arrived at the Port of New York from Ireland on the Sea King, 28 May 1851
