versity. Taught school three years, and
in 1898 entered Starling Medical Col-
lege, graduating in 1902 with degree of
Doctor of Medicine. Began practice
in Somerset, and five years ago located
in Junction City, where he now has a
large practice and a handsome home.
     April 26, 1903, he married Miss Anna
May Frymute. Two children, a boy
and girl, bless the union.   Doctor
Crosbie is a member of the County
and American Medical Societies, sur-
geon for the C. & M. V. Railroad,
and examiner for all the old line life
insurance companies. He is a Knight
of Columbus and an A. O. H.

PROF. W. S. EDMUND

This gentleman is one of the suc-
cessful educators of the county. He
was born in 1881, and is the son of

Hiram B. and Sarah Shaw, and was
born in Gallipolis, in 1874. Was edu-
cated in the public schools, in Gallia
Academy, and Wesleyan University.
Entered Starling Medical College, Col-
umbus, Ohio, 1895, graduating in 1898
with degree of Doctor of Medicine.
Practiced nine years in Gallipolis, and
located in Junction City in 1906, and
now has a large and growing practice.
Doctor Shaw married Miss Louise J.
Jones of Gallipolis.  They reside in
a pretty home in Junction City, The
Doctor has traveled extensively, is a
prominent Mason, member of the
Gallia County and American Medical
Societies and his standing as physician
is very high.

JUNCTION CITY HIGH SCHOOL BUILDING

John N. and Louis Edmund.   His
education was obtained in the public
schools, the Ohio Northern University,
and Lima College.  From the latter
he received the degree of B. S. Began
teaching in 1899, and for four years has
been Superintendent of the Junction
City schools. Professor Edmund holds
a life certificate and his ability is re-
cognized in all sections. In 1903 he
married Miss Jeannette Stevens, of
Thornville, and two children, a boy and
a girl, bless the union. Mr. Edmund
takes a keen interest in all of the
affairs of the County, is an active citi-
zen of Junction City, secretary of the
Building and Loan Company, and is
identified with other enterprises.

FRANK J. CROSBIE, M.D.

S. J. WOLFE, JUNCTION CITY'S LEADING HARDWARE DEALER

     Doctor Frank J. Crosbie resides in
Junction City, and is counted among
the popular and successful citizens of
that hustling place. He is a native of
the county, son of William and Cath-
erine Crosbie, and was born on the
farm near Junction City in 1869. Edu-
     This gentleman is a native of Perry
County, and for eight years has been
in business in Junction City. Two years
ago he purchased J. H. Diller's inter-
est in the present establishment and is
now conducting the business alone.
He has a large and growing trade,
handling all kinds of hardware, fenc-
ing, farm implements, wagons, harness
and horse goods.
     Mr. Wolfe is a public-spirited citi-
zen, is Corporation Treasurer, also
Treasurer of Jackson Township, and is
an active member of the Junction City
Board of Education.
