The following people have agreed to do limited lookups in resources that they own or have access to which have Genealogical data for Berkeley, Charleston & Dorchester Counties.

Before you request a Lookup:

• Please limit your request to one name per request, or two if it is a married couple.
• Please make your requests as specific as possible (first name, last name, dates, etc.).
• Please do not expect volunteers to give you every reference to the name Jones in a particular source-wherever possible, provide dates and full names for the person you are interested in.
• Please do not ask for hard copies to be mailed; the volunteers have been asked not to comply with such requests.

• Include your email address in the body of your message.
• Please put BERKELEY, CHARLESTON OR DORCHESTER COUNTY LOOKUP in the subject line of your request to insure the message is not overlooked or accidentally deleted.
• Please put the name of the book in which you are requesting the lookup in the first line of the message.
• If you request a lookup, don't forget to send a Thank You Note to your volunteer for their time.
• Click on the link at the end of each reference to send a request.
