Community und Kreis Malmedy Administrative Department of Aachen - In the year one thousand eight hundred thirty five, on the twenty-seventh of May at lO AM, before me August Faymonville, deputy Mayor of Malmedy, civil affairs officer, appeared Peter Frantz CABRON, twenty-six years old, born at Malmedy, Administrative Department Achen, occupation plowman, living at Welckenrath Administrative Department Liege, son of the here deceased Heinrich Sevais CABRON and the here present and consenting Johanna Catharina LEBLONU, resident of Malmedy, Administrative Department Aachen. And the young lady, Maria Francisca FRAITURE. Twenty-four years old, born at Malmedy, Administrative Department Achen, without occupation, resident of Malmedy. Administrative Department Achen, daughter of the here present and consenting Heinrich Joseph Hubert FRAITURE and Johanna Francisca DOVIFAT, resident of Malmedy, Administrative Department Aachen. Who have called upon me to legally conclude the marriage agreed upon between them; and in consideration that the prescribed public announcements have indeed been made at the front door of the town hall at Malmedy, namely, the first on the seventeenth and the other on the twenty-fourth of this month, and further that the documents pertaining to the marriage proclamations were publicly posted, and finally that no opposition to this marriage has been presented to me; I have, in order to comply with the said request, and after I had read aloud the contents of the actual act administered and the attached current record, namely: the birth records of the marriage contracting persons: the bridegroom's birth record found in the Birth Register for the year 1808, page 71: the bride's in the Birth Register for the year 1811. page 4: the death record of the bridegroom's father which is found in the Death Register for the year 1827, page 15, as well as the sixth Chapter of the civil code of titles dealing with wedlock, then asked the aforesaid bridegroom and the aforesaid bride: whether they wanted to marry each other? Since now each of the two have, in particular, answered this question affirmatively, I thus declare herewith in the name of the Law, that Peter Frantz CABRON and Maria Francisca FRAITURE are legally married. About all of which I have drawn up the present document in the presence of those who declared to be: Nicolas CABRON, twenty-four years old, occupation tailor, living at Malmedy, a brother of the new husband; Heinrich Joseph FRAITURE, twenty-eight years old, occupation wheelright, living at Malmedy, a brother of the new wife; Frantz Hokav, twenty-five years old, occupation civil servant, living at Malmedy an acquaintance of the new husband; and Joseph Lang, thirty-nine years old, occupation secretary, living at Malmedy, an acquaintance of the new wife; and after it was read to them, the four witnesses as well as the newly married couple have signed this document with me.
