JONATHAN CREECH, son of Stephen Creech was born about 1786, in Wilkes County, North Carolina and he died 7 Oct 1852, in Lee County, Virginia. Jonathan was married at least three seperate occassions: (1) Polly Anglin, daughter of John and Jemima Anglin, (2) JANE BLAIR, daughter of John Charles Blair and Easter Rachel Robinson (Robertson) (3) Nancy Kilbourne, daughter of Martin.

The estate of Jonathan Creech was not settled for many years, but his assets were appraised after his death in Lee County, Virginia, in 1852.
On the 25th of September, 1854, Henry Creech, son of Jonathan Creech and Jane Blair, made a deed to give Jonathan's property, including the part inherited from Thomas Robinson (Robertson) to William Henry Harrison Sproul; but this effort did not speed up the settlement of Jonathan's estate. This deed is on file in Lee County, Book 12, p.243.
A final property settlement was made in Harlan County, Kentucky, on 22 Nov 1867, Book G, p.495, and it was signed by the following heirs:

Deceased prior to the 1867 settlement were Mortimore Creech, Elizabeth Creech Kilbourne, Mary Creech Richmond, Hiram Creech, John Creech, Jonathan Creech, Jr, and Rachel Creech.
The appraisal of the Jonathan Creech estate was made in 1852 and showed the total value of the estate to be $11,840.60. The estate was as follows: Notes owed by Elijah Creech, Ira Creech, Henry Creech, Silas Creech, Mortimore Creech, Elisha Creech, Hiram Creech, William Creech, and Mahal Wells, $1,766.73; value of slaves and farm improvements, $8,476.76; value of household items and improvements, $1,597.11; total appraised value, $11,840.60.
