Fred C. Fischbach, 51, of 2044 White Street, died at a local hospital Saturday night at 9:30 o'clock following a long illness. He is survived by wife and three daughters, Mrs. Fred Singer, Rockford, Mrs. Leo Jasper, Dyersville, and Mrs. Richard Scherbering, Dubuque; four sisters, Mrs. Sue Gettman, Dubuque; Mrs. Mary Huberty, Dyersville; Miss Katherine Fischbach, Long Beach, CA, and Mrs. Joseph Sweeney, Rock Island; fours brothers, Andy of Herman, MN, Burt and John of Dubuque and Theodore of Anaheim, CA. He was born at Dyersville Dec 15, 1888 and had been a resident of Dubuque County all his life. The deceased was a carpenter by trade and was a member of the Carpenters and Joiners Association of America, Local No. 6782. The deceased was married to Mary Huberty Jan 26, 1909 at Dyersville. The body is at the Lipperty & Behr Funeral Home. Arrangements will be announced later.
