Am searching for the birthplaces and/or marriage place of my great3x grandparents: Domenick FISCHBACH and his wife Mary, nee WAGNER. After raising 5 children somewhere in Luxembourg, they emigrate from Antwerp on 10-10-1852 aboard the 3-masted bark Lucia Field. They arrive in NY 12-1-1852. The passenger listing shows the following:
· Dominque - age 58
· Maria -age 57
· Margaretha - age 27
· Maria - age 24
· Susanna - age 19
· Nicholas - age 24
Traveling with the FISCHBACH family is Nicholas BRAUN, age 25. Son William, age 23, emigrates at a later date.
The FISCHBACHs make their way to Centerville Township, Manitowoc County, WI. where they purchase 80 acres in 1853.
Mary dies there in the late 1850s. Domenick dies there at age 79 in the early 1870s. He is buried in the St. Wendel Catholic Cemetery in Centerville Township.
What follows are probable specifics compiled about the family with help from many including Patti Laessig and Allen Grasser:

Teddy Fischbach Noye

I descend from Johann Fischbach, born 1759 in Bofferdange, Luxembourg, and his wife Angelika Lentz who was born in 1765 at Burmerange, Luxembourg. Johann and Angelika's son, Andreas Fischbach, was my great great grandfather. Andreas was born on October 1, 1811 in Bofferdange, Luxembourg, married Catherina Kinkels on January 25, 1842 in Bissen, Luxembourg. Andreas was my immigrant Fischbach ancestor, arriving in America by 1864. Their son, John Matthias Fischbach, was my great grandfather. Matthias was born on February 26, 1852 in Bissen, Luxembourg, married Anna Mary Schneider on May 10, 1878 in Dyersville, Iowa. Their son, Theodore Bernard Fischbach, was my grandfather.

I am searching for information regarding the ancestry and life of Susanna FISCHBACH who married Michael WAGNER, probably in Manitowoc County, Wisconsin. I do not have her parents names. Susanna and Michael were Catholic. Some records of their family are located at St. Wendel's Church in Cleveland, Wisconsin. Two of Michael and Susanna's children married into my LAESSIG family. My great uncle Henry F. LAESSIG b. 3 March 1863 married Agatha WAGNER born 7 Dec. 1863. They
were married at St. Wendel's on 7 January 1888, and lived in Marathon County, WI. My great aunt Augusta LAESSIG married Michael B. WAGNER born circa 1860. Augusta was born 23 Jan. 1865. Both Henry and Augusta LAESSIG are children of Edward LAESSIG and his wife Jeanette BAENEN. Michael B. WAGNER and his wife Augusta LAESSIG moved to Webertown, a tiny settlement in Marathon County, near what is now called Stratford, Wisconisn. There Michael donated acreage to build a Church and cemetery. The cemetery is still there, located a mile north and a mile west of Stratford.

I would appreciate any information regarding this family, on any/all of the above mentioned surnames.

I am researching my father's (Peter Fischbach) family. They came to Canada in 1929 from the Yugoslavia (and earlier from Luxemborg to Yugoslavia). They arrived in Halifax NS and went to settle in Regina SK before coming to Ontario in the 1930's. I understand that my grandfather's (Carl Fischbach) brothers immigrated to North Dakota in the US at that time or possibly earlier - this is what I am trying to find out. I still have to locate more family information from my cousins ( my father and grandparents are deceased and data is scarce). I am particularly interested in other Fischbach's from either Yugoslavia, Luxemborg or Munich (where some family members still reside).

I am trying to prove that I am a descendent of Phillip Fischbach, one of the original settlers in Germanna. Philips daughter Marie ELizabeth married John Spielman and they may have had a daughter Alive who married Jacob Keckley.
