DILLEY Family Photo, Submitted by Bonnie Bryant.

7 of the 8 people are identified, one female name is missing (possibly lady on far right missing)

Id'd as "Martha, Elvira, Sarah, Oliver, James, John, and William Dilley"

(See below photo for identification of this family)

These appear to be the children of Arthur Monroe Dilley, per David Dilley's wonderful World Connect files.

The online file id's all of these children except John. However, a submission by Tom Everson does include son John, as follows:

Arthur's middle name was McGill after his mother Jane McGill. His father was Mose's Dille the son of Aaron. I have his Obituary and his was indentured at age 3 to a man by the name of Fromm or Frame in Guernsey Co., Ohio on the condition that he be well treated, get some schooling and at his majority been given a horse and tack. When he was 18 he saw that none of this would happen and felt that he had been ill treated, he stole his indenture and fled across the State to Preble Co.. He apprenticed as a carpenter with the A. M. Runkle Co.. On Dec. 27, 1835 he married Elizabeth McInturf the Daughter of Jacob and Elinor Burk McInturf of Tennessee (they had moved to Ohio). They went to Darke Co., where 2 children were born Sarah and Willam Asbury Dille were born. In 1842 they went by Ox Cart to Morgan Co., Indiana. Martha Ann, Mary E., John Wesley, Lucretia Ella, Elvira M., Oliver Constantine and James Monroe Dilley were born. My wife is descended from Oliver. This is a great family and many still live in Morgan, Marion Co. area. They have a family reunion in Martinsville, Morgan Co., Indiana in July each year and all have a great time. Have this info for you if you wish. I am also in contact with a cousin in Minneapolis who is also descended from Moses.

In addition, it appears the unidentified woman in the photo is daughter Lucretia Ella Dilley.
