_______ Frank,
I suppose you think I am lazy about writing to you, but the fact is, I have been grunting with a cold for over two weeks and have not had time or a chance to collect a cent till last night to get stamps. Well Frank, there is no use of your bringing your saw or wedges or axe. Sell them for what you can. We have all such things in this country, although I have no saw. Still it would not pay for you to bring yours. Yes bring your rifle by all means, for you can use it and if you have a shotgun that you can pack in your trunk bring that too, for wolves are very plenty and wild cats and rabbits........
