Elias Butler enlistment as a Continental Regular in 1780, serial number 15749, Salisbury District, NC.
1780 Elias Butler had a watermill on Rock Creek in Montgomery County, about a mile upstream from where that creek flows into the Little River, itself a tributary of the Pee Dee (per map in Montgomery County where Butler Mill is located).

Per sketch in history book on Elias Butler: In 1820 he was living in Rutherford County, Tennessee along with his family and his two married daughter's families. A careful search of the land records there, however, shows that he did not buy land in Rutherford County. (Note: Elias is NOT listed on the online indexes for Rutherford, but per an actual transcription, he is on this census).

Reuben Queen was in Carroll Co., TN by 1823, where we find his name appearing in court records, a County Court Jury list, then indictment for assault and battery, his plea of guilty, then by 1825, appointed commissioner to lay off and mark a road near Huntington, TN, from Huntington to Natchez Trace.

The settlement of Sarah Butlers estate (Elias Butlers wife) appears on January 1, 1841 in Carroll Co., TN court docs with Joshua Butler doing all the figuring, since Neally, his brother and co-admisistrator, was in MO by then.

1848 Reuben Queen signed a petition, along with his son Elias, to the Governor of TX to form Williamson Co. off of Milam County.

22nd of December, 1851, James E. Williams (husband of Huldah Queen, Reubens daughter) sold his 320 acres (located originally in Milam County, which changed to Williamsom County), to a Thomas J. Gardner. This land deed was witnessed by Reuben Queen, Huldah's father.
22nd of December, 1851, Reuben Queen sold 300 acres of his land in Williamson County to James S. Bourland.
-Reuben sold the remaining parcel of property that he owned in Williamson Co., TX on 7th October, 1853.
-1851 Reuben Queen listed as appraiser on Nancy Williams probate in Bell County, TX court docs.
1852-1854 Reuben is on Bell Co., TX tax rolls.
1856 Reuben received land grant from Governor of TX for 160
acres of land. He located the land in Lampasas Co., TX., where
he appears on the 1860 federal census listed as age 74 and born
in NC. Reuben died prior to the 1870 census.
