Isaac De Forest
b. c 10 Jul 1616, d. 1674

     Isaac De Forest was born circa 10 July 1616 at Leyden, Holland. He married Sarah du Trieux, daughter of Philippe du Trieux and Susanna du Chesne, on 9 June 1641 at New Amsterdam, New Netherland. He died in 1674 at New Amsterdam, New Netherland.
     He emigrated in 1637; emmigrated from the Netherlands on ship Renselaerwyck.


    Cornelis Volkertsen Viele
    d. c 1649

         Cornelis Volkertsen Viele married Maria du Trieux, daughter of Philippe du Trieux and Jaquemyne Noirett, before 1642. He died circa 1649.
         Probably born in Hoorn, North Holland. Certainly a trader and tavern-keeper of New Amsterdam in 1639; probably a sailmaker and trader of Hoorn. A document dated June 5, 1614 states that Cornelis Volkertszen, Bookseller resided at Hoorn on the Nieuwland (street) in the house called "`t Vergulde Claver" (the golden clover). He was an investor in the ship "The Fortuyn" which explored the Hudson River in 1613 just four years after Henry Hudson (1609). He was also an investor in the New Netherland Company formed to explore and settle New Amsterdam. He evidently followed his investment by settling in New York.

            Pieter Wolphersen was also known as Wolphersen van Couwenhoven.


        Jan Peek
        b. c 1615

             Jan Peek was born circa 1615 at Netherlands. He was born before 1650 at emmigrated. He married Maria du Trieux, daughter of Philippe du Trieux and Jaquemyne Noirett, in 1650.
              Jan Peek was also known as Jan Peake. An early settler of New Amsterdam, where for many years he and his wife kept an Inn. Frequent prosecutions were instituted against them for selling spirits without license and for selling to the Indians. The creek at Peekskill takes its name from him. Maria had as a first husband, Cornelis Volkertsen Viele, plus an illegitimate child prior to her marriages by Pieter Wolphersen Van Couwenhougn.


          Evert Janse Wendell
          b. 1615, d. 1709

               Evert Janse Wendell was born in 1615 at Emden, East Friesland, Germany. He married Susanna du Trieux, daughter of Philippe du Trieux and Susanna du Chesne, circa 31 July 1644 at New York, New York. He died in 1709 at Albany, NY.
                Evert Janse Wendell was also known as Evert Jansen. He immigrated in 1640; came to New Amsterdam. Moved to Fort Orange (Albany) in 1651. Evert came to New York in the service of the Dutch West Indies Company. He lived in New York City until about 1651 when the family moved to Albany. He was a cooper and import merchant. He was an elder in the Dutch Church, 1656, Orphan-Master, 1657, Magistrate, 1660, 1661. In 1663 at the time of his second marriage, Evert and his second wife, Marytje, signed a prenuptial agreement which gives the name of his first wife, the names of her children
          except for Thomas, then an adult, and the ages of the children.

          Evert Jansen, from Emden, married, July, 1644, in New Amsterdam, Susanna du
          [Image]Trieux[Image]. He acquired a lot in 1647, another lot in 1652 at
          Beverwyck. His name often occurs in the church registers of New Amsterdam.
          He died in 1655. [lies!].

                 Rosella? Hestor? married Abraham du Trieux, son of Philippe du Trieux and Susanna du Chesne.


              Hendrick van Bommel

                   Hendrick van Bommel married Rachel du Trieux, daughter of Philippe du Trieux and Susanna du Chesne, circa 30 September 1656 at New York, New York.


                Dirk Janse de Groot

                     Dirk Janse de Groot was born at Groet, Holland. He married Rachel du Trieux, daughter of Philippe du Trieux and Susanna du Chesne, on 8 August 1677.
                      Dirk Janse de Groot was also known as Dirck Jansen.
