Biography:

John E TICE entered the US Navy Oriental Language School in Japanese at the University of Colorado in Boulder from Glendale, California, on March 12, 1945. He would have soon been transferred to Oklahoma A&M in Stillwater, as the bulk of the JLS was shifting there. His 14 month course was interrupted by the end of the War, when he was offered other duties if he did not want to finish. He did not graduate from the program. There is no more information on him.
