Biography:
After commissioning and initial training in the Nuclear Propulsion Training
Pipeline and the Submarine Officer Basic Course (SOBC), Albert reported to his
first sea assignment aboard USS COLUMBIA (SSN-771) in Pearl Harbor, HI. He served
aboard COLUMBIA from October 1997 to October 2000.
From there, he transferred to the staff of Commander, Submarine Force, U.S. Pacific
Fleet (COMSUBPAC), and served as the Assistant Force Nuclear Power Officer from
October 2000 until May 2003.
His current assignment will be aboard USS PITTSBURGH (SSN-720) as the Navigator and
Operations Officer, based out of Groton, CT.
