Second Lieutenant Thomas J Fisher USMCR

Second Lieutenant Thomas J Fisher is a native of Claskanie, Oregon. He attended Claskanie
High in Claskanie, Oregon, a rural farming town. In high school he was involved in many
extra curricular activities, including raising steers and hogs. In fall 1995, he accepted
a Marine Corps ROTC scholarship to attend University of Southern California.
As a valuable member of the Trojan Battalion, Second Lieutenant Fisher has held the billets
of Platoon Commander and Battalion Adjutant. His extra curricular activities in college
range from touring the East Coast to spending a semester abroad in Spain. Second Lieutenant
has earned a bachelor's degree in International Relations and Spanish.
In the course of his midshipmen career, Second Lieutenant Fisher has been awarded the
Academic Star, Professor of Naval Science Award, and the 1st Marine Division sword. He
received his commission on May 14, 1999, and will report to The Basic School in Quantico,
Virginia.
