Ensign Giana D Lococo USNR

Ensign Giana D Lococo is a native of Lakeside, California. She attended Lakeside High School
in Lakeside, California, a small suburb east of San Diego. In fall 1995, she accepted a
Naval ROTC scholarship to attend University of Southern California.
As an intricate member of the Trojan Battalion, Ensign Lococo has held the billets of
Volunteer Officer, Company Commander, and most recently Executive Officer during the Spring
term of 1999. She is a black belt in Karate and enjoys spending time exercising and
visiting with her family. Ensign Lococo has earned a bachelor's degree in International
Relations.
In the course of his midshipmen career, Ensign Lococo has been awarded the Academic Star,
Professor of Naval Science Award, and Community Service awards. She received her
commission on May 14, 1999, and will report to Surface Warfare Officer's School in Newport,
Rhode Island, and subsequently to USS Peleliu in San Diego, California.
