BIOGRAPHY
Sergeant Moline was born on July 16, 1972 in Peterborough,
New Hampshire. He enlisted in the United States Marines Corps in
1990 and went to school for Air Defense. When he obtained the rank of Corporal,
his command at MCB Twenty Nine Palms, 3rd LAAD, nominated him for the Marine Enlisted
Commissioning Educational Program (MECEP) and he was selected in 1995.
The summer of 1996, Sgt Moline attended MECEP Prep at MCRD San Diego,
California, prior to arriving at the University of Southern California. Shortly
thereafter, he made the rank of Sergeant.
Nov 13, 1997, Sergeant Moline was a junior at the University of Southern
California, when he killed in a traffic accident while riding his bicycle to school.
He was scheduled to be commissioned May 1999, as a Second Lieutenant in
the United States Marine Corps and had been nominated for the Naval Aviator's School.
OBITUARY
Stephen Moline was born on July 16, 1972 in Peterborough,
New Hampshire. On Nov 13, 1997, Stephen was killed in an
accident in Rancho Cucamonga, California. His final
resting place is at Riverside National Cemetary, Riverside,
Riverside County, California.
Sergeant Moline was survived by his wife, Viniece Stovall
Moline, his sons Michael and Tory, his parents Russell A
and Francis A Moline, four brothers and two sisters.
At the time of his death, Sergeant Moline was a junior at
the University of Southern California, enrolled in USC
NROTC - Marine Enlisted Commissioning Educational Program
(MECEP). He was scheduled to be commissioned May 1999, as
a Second Lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps. He
was an aviation guarantee. But most importantly, he was
an outstanding Marine, a loving husband, a caring father,
a devoted son, and a wonderful friend, who will be missed
by all.
