Ensign Kevin P Murphy USNR

Ensign Kevin P Murphy is a native of Concord, California. He attended Clayton High School in Concord, California. In fall 1995, he accepted a Naval ROTC scholarship to attend University of Southern California.

As a valuable member of the Trojan Battalion, Ensign Murphy has held the billets of Squad Leader, Mustering Petty Officer, Academics Officer, and Company Commander. He has earned a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the Marshall School of Business.

In the course of his midshipmen career, Ensign Murphy has been awarded the Academic Star, Professor of Naval Science Award, and Captain Allen E Davenport Sword. He received his commission on May 14, 1999, and will report to Surface Warfare Officer's School in Newport, Rhode Island, and subsequently to USS Briscoe in Norfolk, Virginia.
