Ensign Daphne D Yu USNR

Ensign Daphne D Yu was born in Beijing, China, but soon moved to Los Angeles, California. She attended Rowland High School in Rowland Heights, CA. In fall 1995, she accepted a Naval ROTC Nursing Scholarship to attend the Unitversity of California Los Angeles. She later transfered to the Nursing Program at the University of Southern California.

Her future goals include the study of medical/ surgical intensive care unit (ICU) nursing, as well as the eventual receipt of a Masters in Nurse Anthesiology. Ensign Yu has earned a bachelor's degree in Nursing.

In the course of her midshipman career, Ensign Yu has been awarded the Daughters of American Revoluation ROTC medal and the Nursing Department Chair's Circle Award. Upon commissioning, she will report to Naval Hospital, Camp Pendleton, California.
