Biography:

Jinny J HARRIS was born on Edwards Air Force Base, CA. In high school, she ran track, played in the marching band, acted in Mock Trial, and sang in the school musical production. She graduated as Salutatorian from Sultana High School in 1997 and entered the University of Southern California later that fall.
,br> Jinny Harris completed the Thematic Option General Education program, enjoying the challenges of astronautics. She also was accepted to the USC chapter of Sigma Gamma Tau, the national aerospace engineering honors society.

Jinny Harris was an intragal part of the Trojan Battalion, holding the billets of Yearbook Coordinator, Comptroller, Company Commander, and the Spring Battalion Commander.

Upon graduation, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering, Ensign Jinny Harris married William McGill. She reported to the Washington Navy Yard in Washington, DC, for a five year commitment at the Office of Naval Reactors.
