Moved to Durham in 1722 where he lived until his death in 1767. From the great number of deeds recorded in his name he appears to have been a man of large means. He also appears to have endowed his children with much real estate. He deeded them much land "in consideration of the love he bore them." CT Ancestry v32 1990 p141.
