        We've added another Waldensian Surname researcher to the Family Researchers page, Jean Daniel Coisson, has provided us with the listing of his Waldensian surnames.

        We've added another Waldensian Surname researcher to the Family Researchers page, Carl Roshong, has provided us with the listing of his Waldensian surnames. A few previously listed researcher surnames have also been updated. Items that have been added or updated since the initial listing of this page now have the added or updated date noted.

    Known Waldensian Surnames
        The list of surnames has been extended from 633 primary names listed by Coisson, to 2,515 with the inclusion of his spelling variations and the addition of names extracted from the Pieter Valkenier lists of 1698. The list is limited to those Waldensian surnames that were known to have lived in the Piedmont Valleys.
