Frances Christy was born about 1770. She died in 1848. Frances married William CAVE.
I got this email 3/99 in response to an inquiry:
According to what I have gathered on the CHRISTY family, Francis Christy married William Cave, 11 Jul 1783 in Orange Co. VA. They settled in Boone County, MO in 1814 where they were chartered members of the Old Bear Creek Baptist Church established 1824 (later called Antioch) near Columbia, MO. William Cave died ca 1852 with Will #518 Boone County, MO. Francis Christy was the daughter of Julius Christy and Agatha Barnett of Orange Culpeper Co. VA Julius Christy's will written 1805, probated July 1808 in Clark Co. KY. He was born ca 1730 near Norfolk, Virginia and is believed to be the son of a Samuel Christy who died when Julius Christy was young. The Christy lived on the Rappidan River which forms the boundary of Orange and Culpeper and Julius Christy owned and operated a mill on the river until it was washed away in a flood during the time of the Revolution. Sometime in the late 1780's Julius Christy moved to Fayette County, KY which at that time included most of the northern portion of Kentucky.
6 June 1783: Marriage of William Cave and Francis Christy, daughter of Julius Christy, who consents. Sur: Belfield Cave. Wit: William Glass, John Gulle and P. Kanvenaugh. Married 11 Jul 1783 by Rev. George Eve. William Cave of Brumfield Parish, Culpeper Co., son of John Cave. Francis Christy of St. Thomas Parish, Orange Co. VA. I believe William Cave lived in Boone Co. KY before moving to Missouri. I
have the names of only three children.1. Mariah Cave married James Kirtley, his will #167 Boone Co. MO 1833
2. Sarah Cave married a Hoover
3. Mary Cave born 1802 KY married William Cave, son of Rev. Richard Cave. They were cousins and moved to Louisana during the Civil War. Mary died 1876. They had a son named Franklin Cave who married Catherine Galbreath. Franklin Cave served in the CSA and died 1880 in Audrain Co. MO.
I worked on the Christy family several years ago, but set it aside because of the "brick walls", so none of my Christy information is computerized - just in a thick binder. I know I have more info. on the Christy families, but don't think I have anything more on the CAVES.

I received much on this line in 10/98 from Stephen Willson, who said that this was his line and Uriel & Susan were his g-g-grandparents. He is at:

Richard PARKER was born on 25 May 1759 in Virginia. He died on 26 Jan 1809 in Boone Co., KY. Richard married Hannah CAVE.
Another source has dob as 25 May 1751.
Hannah CAVE [Parents] was born on 11 Apr 1763. She died on 16 Feb 1835 in Petersburg, Boone Co, KY. Hannah married Richard PARKER.

Richard PARKER Jr. [Parents] was born on 15 Sep 1804 in Boone Co., KY. He died on 21 Mar 1879 in Boone Co., KY. Richard married Sally HOGAN on 17 Mar 1831 in Boone Co., KY.
Sally HOGAN was born on 19 Mar 1808. She died on 19 Oct 1854 in Boone Co., KY. Sally married Richard PARKER Jr. on 17 Mar 1831 in Boone Co., KY.
