Benny Culp, a long time Wissinoming resident, was a catcher
and a coach for the Phillies. He went to Lawton, played with the
"Robbins," with "Wissinoming," and with the team at Disston Saws when
he worked there. During WWII, he was on tour in the Pacific playing with
such greats as Stan Musial. |
