"One of the early residents of Crescent was Jim Jost; he was also one
of the last to leave. When he vacated the area, he literally took the
town with him, transporting and then selling all of Crescent's movable
buildings to people and businesses in Searchlight. Jost moved the
final building in 1920. All that is now left of Crescent's peak years
is the concrete foundation of the old post office."

The Crescent referred to is Crescent, Nevada. Jim Jost moved to
Searchlight, Nevada from Crescent.
