Gehrmann / Krechovek / Pager / Przivolka
Ferdinand GEHRMANN (GEHRMAN) born 1849 possibly in Konradswalde,West Prussia, came to the USA in 1881 bringing with him three children, Martha, age 6; Bruno, age 4; and Anton, age 2. These three children were apparently from a previous marriage. Ferdinand went to La Crosse Wisconsin and in 1882 married Marian KRECHOVEK (GREHOWIAK
| is a possible alternate spelling) born 1859 possibly
in Markoschin, West Prussia. Their oldest son Max was born in LaCrosse.
Ferdinand and Marian moved to Appleton, Outagamie
County, Wisconsin and had eight more children.Their nine children, born 1883-1906
were: Max [SPREEMAN]; Bernard [Clara]; Katherine (Kate) [MOLLON]; Regina (Jeane)[BARRETT
& WALTON & SIVERLING]; Thomas [WIRTH]; Josephine [OWENS]; John born
1901 [SCHULTZ]; Stephen [SCHNEIDER]; and Harold [MCGIVERN]. Ferdinand’s daughter
Martha married a BONEBRAKE. There is no information about sons Bruno &
Anton, or their mother, who apparently died in Germany. |

Marianna PAGER and that
Marian’s parents were Bartholom Krechovek and Margaretha
PRZIVOLKA.
