Notes

Henrich Johann Eiting

Name spelled Eutink in his death record.

Hermann Eiting

Name on his death record was spelled Eütinck.

Wenceslaus Mölders

In the 1700's and perhaps other times as well, this name was spelled Möllers.

Johann Wilhelm Eiting

His death entry does not give his age at death, and spells his name Euting. His estimated birth date ASSUMES (pure speculation) an age of 60 at death.

Toone Vos

1829 Pop. Register (ref 250) residence 173, listed Jan Hemback te Welle born 1752 as farmer, Harmina as wife, born March 31, 1762, and death date as 1837. I believe the village was Zieuwent, but not sure. Living in this same household (in addition to two of their children) was a Toone Vos, Oom (uncle), born Oct 30, 1761, as well as a Trauerick (sp?) van Bromhorst born Oct(?) 15, 1803, who might be a husband to Harmina's daughter, Derksken -- and two Bromhorst children. It is not clear who Toone is an uncle too. The birthdates are too close for him to be a brother of Harmina.

Jan Vos

Birth year may be 1795 instead of 1973. Not sure where he fits. See the following note for a more complete description, as given in the population register, of the household that he appeared in.

In the 1829 Zieuwent(?) Population Register, Johannes Hendrich Vos is shown on the first line for house #180, farmer, born May 17, 1756, died June 16, 1831. Apparently his wife had died before 1829. The next line lists a Derk Vos, Kind, born Aug 14, 1786. This is apparently another son of Johannes Hendrich (who I previously did not have record of). The third line is apparently Derk's wife: "Engelina Maria Penterman, wife, born August 20, 1789(1787?), died 1886. There is also then listed six children (apparently Derk's and Engelina's) born 1814 - 1829. Also listed is an Jan Vos, born Feb 2, 1793 (1795?) (don't know where he fits. I entered him separately in the database). Also listed is a "Johanna Hummeling, wife, born Oct 31, 1799" from "Vornth(sp?) house # 120 L(?)". Not sure whose wife she is, possibly the wife of the oldest son of Derk and Engelina: Garrit Jan Vos born Aug 13, 1814 -- although she would be quite a bit older than him. Right below Johanna Hummeling's line is, "Engelina Vos, Kind, born Aug 1838" -- possibly a child of Johanna Hummeling. Rounding out the household is a Anna Hobereg (sp??), maid, born May 27, 1806.

Teune Eiting

In LDS extract, his name was listed as Oytink. Do not know if the born "abt 1767" means + or - 1 year (as I mean by "about").
