James from Texas in 1999 is the person that sent me reference 155 on the "Ohio" Eiting's.
This child was apparently not noted in reference 251. It is possible that she is the same as one reference 251 does mention, just under a different one of what are sometimes multiple given names.
Wilhelmina and her husband had four children.
Ref 155 says he is from "Kastelberger, Germany, Hanover". Reference 235 says he is from Boerger, Germany.
Reference 155 reports that Mary and Rudolf had twelve children, one of their children had ten children, and one of their great grandchildren had fifteen. Reference 251 (Ancestry.com download, Researcher = Casswell) lists their descendants (or at least some of them) for five generations. I did not enter any of these descendants. Just in general, the portion of reference 251 that I printed out contains only a small fraction of the people contained in the download (I printed out only the descendants of Johann Hinrick Eiting and Aleida Te Kampe (married Dec 29, 1765). Ref. 293 also lists 12 children.
Reference 235 lists her birth day as the 10th of August.
Caroline and Charles had five children. Caroline's real name was M. Caroline, probably standing for Mary Caroline.
LDS Batch 8505907, sheet 7.
Josephine and John had five children. Also see LDS Batch 8505907, sheet 7.
Ref. 155 apparently says they had two children. Ref. 264 lists him as 34 in 1910, head of household, wife Madilda B. age 35, daughter Mary age 5, son Carl F. age 3, grandfather John age 83 living with them (all born in Ohio). If they are refering to John William's grandfather (age would be about right), this would not be correct for birthplace.
Ref 251 gave her name as Herkerhof and Ref 293 as Herkinoff.
Ref 293 says his birthday was Sep 10, 1846 (St. Georg Church Reg. pg. 50, No 177, 1846).
Ref 293 indicates he had a son Theodore born in Bocholt who married a Rose Meir. No dates are given, but his name is proceeded with an apparent reference to another page or to a footnote (that I couldn't find): "M1*", with the 1* being a superscript.
Not sure of spelling on her last name. Looks like Walkes in one case, Zalter in another, and something like Zelbet in another. This is from Bocholt Stadt Archive records 003706 and 003672(ref 230). Reference 252 (LDS download spells it Mathilde Walter), so that's what I entered.
Death record says she died at 14 days. Does not quite match dates.
