OBITUARY
Alvina Marcellene, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Thompson, was born at Hackberry, Tex., January 8th, 1915, died May 8, 1928. She spent the last four years in Husum, Wash. She leaves to mourn her loss, her mother and father and two sisters, Nina V., Clara Jean. She was greatly beloved by her many friends and was a member of the Husum campfire girls. She was taken ill January 1st. The Camp Fire girls were the pallb earers, they are: Edith and Dorothy McIlroy, Maxine Draggoo, Ione Anderson, Ruby Patrick, Christina Christenson. The services were held at the Methodist church in White Salmon, May 9th, and conducted by Rev. R.C. Young. Interment at the Odd Fellows cemetery.
