BUY AT UNDERWOOD
Underwood, Wash., offers the only remaining opportunity
of purchasing first-class fruit land in the famous Hood River district at
a nominal price. Underwood is only two miles from Hood River, just across
the Columbia river, and has the same climate and soil, with the added advantage
of being nearly two weeks earlier, due largely to being better protected
from cold, up-stream winds. The land has been held in large tracts by "old
settlers," content to make a living in other ways than growing fruit.
With the building of the North Bank railroad, this land
is coming on the market and the prices now are certainly lower than any to
be found on the Oregon side for equal quality. When you remember that we
are now only 20 minutes from Hood River depot, while in Six Months Jim Hill
will be taking our fruit from our front door, and you can't touch the land
at these prices.
We have a large list of both improved and an improved
land for sale. If you fail to find what you want in Hood River drop me a
card, take the Underwood ferry and I will meet you at the dock and you will
be in a fair way to become a resident of Underwood, for it needs but to be
seen to convince you of the advantage of buying here. Compare these with
other prices.
