EAGLES TO HELP WITH BOYS TOWN
Camp Columbia is to received the backing of the Eagles clubs all over the state
if plans mature which were formulated at the joint meeting at Bingen in
Tuesday. State President E.L. Cain, who visited the lodge and was principal
speaker gave the local Eyrie the green light to get in behind the local Boys
organization and “Brother” it.
With one hundred and ten Eagles clubs in the State of
Washington and each one putting on a special activity for the benefit of Camp
Columbia once a year for the next five years Washington's Boys Town would be
assured of success.
It was also suggested that this matter be taken to the
State Convention this year, and passed for the record although it would be up to
each individual club to push its local activity for the benefit of this worthy
project.
