GI’S INSURANCE TO HELP BUILD DORM FOR BOYS
$5000 Insurance of Korean Hero To Start $50,000 Building Fund

     A memorial building at Camp Columbia -- that is the plan of the directors of the West's own “Boys Town” located on Spring Creek near Husum, in honor of an Army Sergeant killed in action, who assigned his $5,000 government insurance to the camp.
     Sgt. Gerald Capwell 24th Inf. assigned here last summer to assist in the summer recreation program at the swimming pool assigned his insurance over to the camp and when the Sergeant went over-seas with the 2nd Division, he was one of the first battle causalities of that famous outfit.
     Superintendent F.H. Blake of the non-denominational, non-profit home for unwanted boys, announced the plans in Seattle last week.  He arrived in Seattle Saturday to convert with Bishop Stephen F. Bayne Jr., of the Episcopal Church in connection with raising the balance of the $50,000 for building a dormitory to house 50 boys.
