CAPTAIN JOHN RICH AND FAMILY
Captain Rich and wife purchased the Martin Nickelsen
farm near Belmont improving and beautifying the grounds. Mrs. Rich was the
youngest sister of Joseph Frazier, Sr. Her brother, Dan Frazier, did the
carpenter work on the buildings.
Mr. and Mrs. Rich are buried in Idlewild Cemetery. Their
only son George, lives in California.
Dan Frazier died in Pendleton in 1920.
