FINAL RITES FOR ANDREW BARNES TO BE FRIDAY
Andrew Albert Barnes who was born June 6, 1901 at Webb
City, Mo., died May 7 at HyLand Convalescent Center in Camas, Washington.
Mr. Barnes, a retired electrician, was a member of Local
78, of the International Brotherhood of Electric Workers. He also was a member
of Mt. Hood Masonic Lodge 32 F & AM of Vancouver, Washington.
Survivors include: his wife, Mabel, of Lyle, Wash.; two
sons, Vernon H., of Gresham Ore., and Andrew A., of White Salmon; three
daughters, Shirley Ann Shelton of Sumner, Wash.; Janet Meresse of White Salmon,
and Mary Janes Barnes of Lyle,; one brother, Francis Barnes of Spokane, Wash.;
one sister, Edith Simmons of California; and three grandchildren.
Services will be held on Friday afternoon, May 12 at 2 o'clock
with Rev. Donald Kaelin officiating at Gardner's Funeral Home. Interment
will be at Balch Cemetery at Lyle.
