ALPHONSE JOSEPH LENOIR

     Alphonse Joseph Lenoir was born in Belgium March 23, 1880, and passed away in Goldendale October 8, 1971. He had been a resident of the Goldendale area since 1938.
     Lenoir is survived by his wife Anna; five daughters, Margeurite Olwell, Sioux City, Ia,; Yvonne Wentworth, Minneapolis, Mn.; Louise Sutherland, Vancouver, Wa.; Joan Peasley, Stanwood, Wa.; Bernadette Peasley, Anchorage, Ak.; three sons, Victor, Vancouver; Charles, Goldendale; and Joseph, Vancouver; 28 grandchildren, and 27 great-grandchildren.
     Fr. William Shaw conducted the services at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Goldendale, Wednesday October13, 1971, and the interment was at Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery.
     Pallbearers were James Lenoir, Jerry Lenoir, Joe Lenoir, Steve Lenoir, Mike Wentworth and Mike Sutherland.
