Through an oversight we neglected to chronicle the death of Alfred Mesecher of Spring Creek, aged 11 years. The immediate cause of the boy's death was inflamation of the bowels. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Mesecher. The funeral services were conducted at the home by Rev. J.E. Adams, June 12, after which his remains were laid to rest in the Spring Creek cemetery. Mr. and Mrs. Mesecher wish to extend, through the press, their thanks to their friends and neighbors for their kindness and help in their sad affliction.
