OBITUARY
Anna Belle Moore, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R.H. Moore,
was born April 24, 1883, near Charleston, Mississippi County, Missouri, and
passed away at her home in Goldendale May 30, 1932, at the age of 49 years,
1 month and 6 days having been a resident of Klickitat county since 1908.
On July 4, 1903 she was united in marriage to Roy O.
Avery, at Caruthersville, Missouri. To this union four children were born,
two sons, Robert and Cecil, having preceded her in death.
Through all the years of her ill health she was a patient
sufferer, and always maintained that cheerful disposition which had won her
many lasting friendships. She placed the welfare and happiness of her family
far beyond her own, and was always a devoted wife and mother.
Mrs. Avery is survived by her husband, Roy O., a son,
William, and a daughter, Clara, all of Goldendale; her aged mother, Mrs.
R.H. Moore; three brothers, Price, John and Robert, and a sister, Nellie,
all residing in Indiana.
Funeral services were held from the Chapman Chapel Wednesday,
June 1st, at 2:00 o'clock, with Rev. H.P. Andrews officiating, interment
following in the Spring Creek cemetery.
