IN MEMORY OF ADA BELLE COCHRAN

[Died May 25, 1902, at Glenwood]

Hid beneath the daisy bloossoms
Are Ada's dreamy eye's,
But far above her lonely tomb,
Her bosom is in the skies,
She was our darling and our pride,
The joy of every heart,
She was like a sunbeam at our side,
That did with her depart.

She came to bless us for a while,
With sunshine, love and mirth,
With heart so pure and free from guile.
Too good and pure for earth,
She's roaming now with angles bright,
Who tread the other shore,
He took her from our home and sight,
To dwell with us no more.

When spring birds wake us with their song,
All morning noon and night,
Tis always then were sigh and long
For Ada's smile so bright
But most we miss her form at eve,
When twilight's curtains fall,
When in our hearts dark shadows cling,
That bring the silent tear.

Sweetly slumber Angel Ada
We will not disturb thay rest,
Dreamy eyes are closed forever,
She is with the blest.

Her Loving Auntie Mamma.
