DEATH CLAIMS MRS. ROMINGER AFTER ILLNESS
Mrs. Alice Beitel Rominger, wife of H.V. Rominger, passed
away in North Bonneville Sunday. She was 82 years, 8 months and 11 days old,
and death came following an illness of several months. Until about a year
ago, Mr. and Mrs. Rominger had resided near Underwood where, for the past
37 years, they had lived on a fruit ranch.
Mrs. Rominger was born in Philadelphia, Pa., on December
27, 1864.
Funeral services were held at the Gardner Funeral Home
in White Salmon on Wednesday at 2 p.m., and were attended by scores of family
friends and neighbors. Burial was in Underwood cemetery.
Among her survivors is her husband, Henry Virgil Rominger,
and a nephew, C.F. Rominger, of Vancouver, Washington.
