Anna C. Carlock, White Salmon, died Sunday in Goldendale
at the age of 88. She was born April 22, 1890, in Glenwood to Mr. and Mrs.
Anton Wellenbrock and had been a resident of White Salmon for 20 years. She
worked as a cook for the Forest Service and at logging camps.
Survivors include two children, M.P. Gilmore, Albany, Ore., and Bertha Babcock, Glenwood; seven stepchildren, Ethel Settje, Washougal, James Carlock, Myrtle Point, Ore., Loren Carlock, Sequim, Chester Carlock, Golden Valley, Minn., Wayne Carlock, White Salmon, Donald Carlock, Seattle, and Mary Ambroz, Minneapolis; five grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.
Rev. Floyd Green will conduct funeral services for Mrs. Carlock Friday 1 p.m. at Gardner Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Mt. Adams Cemetery in Glenwood.
