ALMERA C. BALDWIN

     Graveside services will be held today, Thursday, at White Salmon Cemetery beginning at 1 p.m. for Almera C. Baldwin of The Dalles who died Jan. 5 at Valley Vista Care Center. She was 79.
     Mrs. Baldwin was born May 6, 1910, in Siston, S.D., to Margaret A. (Pottecary) and George Croft. She was raised in South Dakota and Nebraska. She married Ralph A. Baldwin in Nebraska. The couple later moved to Wyoming, among other places, before finally settling in Washington in 1942, when she worked for Hanford.
     The couple moved to Lyle in 1945. Mrs. Baldwin was preceded in death by her husband, who died in 1977.
     She has been at Valley Vista Care Center for four years. She was a member of the Methodist Church and the Lyle Women's Club. She enjoyed sewing and playing cards.
     Mrs. Baldwin is survived by daughters Doris Gena and Belinda M. Baldwin, both of The Dalles, five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
     Contributions in her name may be given to the Alzheimer's Foundation.

BALDWIN

     Almera C. Baldwin, 79, of The Dalles, died January 1, 1990 at Valley Vista Care Center.
     Mrs. Baldwin was born May 5, 1910, in Siston, S.D., to George and Margaret A. (Pottecary) Croft. She grew up in S.D. and Nebraska, married Ralph A. Baldwin and moved to Wyoming.
     They moved to Washington in 1942 and she worked for Hanford. They moved to Lyle in 1945. Mr. Baldwin died in 1977.

     Mrs. Baldwin is survived by two daughters: Delores Dean and Belinda M. Baldwin, both of The Dalles; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
     Graveside services were held in the White Salmon Cemetery under the direction of gardner Funeral Home of White Salmon.
     Contributions may be given to the Alzheimer's Foundation.
