ANNA C. CARYL
Anna C. Caryl was born to Chancy and Maria Conklin July
27, 1879 at Prairieburg, Iowa. She was married to Isaac B. Caryl on November
11, 1903 at Marion, Iowa. They celebrated their sixtieth wedding anniversary
November 11, 1963 at Trout Lake. After living in Trout Lake for 31 years,
she passed away in Hood River, Oregon, on March 14th.
Surviving her is her husband, Isaac B. Caryl of Trout
Lake; five sons, Rollin, Paul and Robert of Trout Lake and Richard of Bow,
Washington and Lloyd of Omak, Washington; one daughter, Marian Schmid of
Trout Lake; 17 grandchildren and one sister, Marian Butler of Portland, Oregon.
Funeral services were held at Gardner's Chapel, March
17th at 1:30 p.m. Interment was at Trout Lake Cemetery and the Rev. Mr. Clarence
Twigg officiated at the services.

RITES HELD FOR ANNA C. CARYL
Funeral services for Mrs. Isaac B. (Anna C.) Caryl, 84,
Trout Lake, were held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 17 at Gardner's Chapel
in White Salmon. The Rev. Clarence Twigg officiated. Burial was in Trout
Lake cemetery.
Bearers were Ernest Childs, John Anrig, Robert McNeel,
Richard Lewis, Walter Schmid and Al Lermo.
Mrs. Caryl was born July 27, 1879 at Prairiesburg, Iowa.
She and her husband, Isaac B. Caryl, have lived in Trout Lake Valley for
31 years. They celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Nov. 11, 1963.
Mrs. Caryl died early Saturday, March 14 at Hood River.
She is survived by her husband; five sons, Rollin, Paul
and Robert, all of Trout Lake, Richard of Bow and Lloyd of Omak; also a daughter,
Mrs. Marian Schmid of Trout Lake, 17 grandchildren; and a sister, Marian
Bulter of Portland, Ore.
