ARTHUR C. GRAY
Arthur C. Gray of Hood River died June 23. He was 86.
Mr. Gray was born Aug. 13, 1908 in Chicago, Ill. to Elizabeth
(Gomm) and James Gray. He grew up in Chicago, graduated from Missouri University
with a degree in journalism. He moved to Arizona in 1936 and married Mary
Francis Mullen in 1948 in Scottsdale, Ariz. He worked as a comptroller and
purchasing agent for Sunnypipe and Supply Wholesale Plumbers in Phoenix.
He moved to Hood River over two years ago. He was a member
of the Episcopal Church in Phoenix and loved tennis and golf.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Francis Gray of Hood
River; daughter, Sandra Walters of Trout Lake; three grandsons. He was preceded
in death by three sisters and a granddaughter. Graveside services were held
Saturday at Trout Lake Cemetery. Rev. John Langfeldt officiated.
