Gardner's Funeral service announce the death of Mrs.
Alrona Davies, 81, of Lyle who died Monday, Nov. 22 at Skyline where she
had been hospitalized since Oct. 13.
Funeral arrangemnets are pending. Burial will be at Lyle.
Survivors include a son, Jackson Moore of Torrance, Calif.; daughter, Mrs.
Dixie Babcock of Missoula, Montana; and sisters, Mrs. Kamma Clark of Lyle
and Mrs. Henrietta Mogren of North Bonneville.

Mrs. Alrona Davies, age 81 of Lyle, Washington, passed away at Skyline Hospital on Monday, November 22, 1965. She is survived by one son, Jackson Moore, who lives in Torrance, California; a daughter, Mrs. Dixie Babcock of Missoula, Montana and 2 sisters; Mrs. Kamma Clark of Lyle; and Mrs. Henrietta Mogren of North Bonneville, Washington. Services were held at Gardner's Funeral Home on Wednesday, Dec. 1, with Rev. Everett Richey of Lyle officiating. Pall bearers were: Stanley Hylton, Wilber Johnson, Kenneth Sorensen, Larry Sorensen, Archie Kure, and Hildor Kure. Interment was at the Balch cemetery in Lyle.

RITES HELD FOR ALRONA DAVIES
Funeral services for Mrs. Alrona Davis, 81, Lyle were
held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 1 at Gardner's Funeral Chapel in white Salmon.
The Rev. Everett Richey of Lyle officiated. Burial was in Balch cemetery
near Lyle.
Bearers were: Stanley Hylton, Wilbur Johnson, Kenneth
Sorensen, Archie and Hildor Kure.
Mrs. Davies was born on Sept. 7, 1887 in Denmark and
died Nov. 22, 1865 in Skyline Hospital White Salmon.
She is survived by a son, Jackson Moore of 824 Beach
Ave., Torrance, Calif.; daughter, Mrs. D.W. (Dixie) Babcock, 211 Hastings
Ave., Missoula, Montana; and sisters, Mrs. Kamma Clark of Lyle and Henrietta
Mogren of North Bonneville.

ALRONA DAVIES
Alrona Davies, a resident of Lyle since 1937, passed
away at Skyline Hospital in White Salmon November 27. Born in Denmark September
7, 1884 to Kathryn and Corfiz Sorensen, she came to America in 1889, lived
in North Carolina five years, came west in 1893 and lived in Portland 13
years before moving to Lyle.
Survivors are a daughter Dixie Babcock of Missoula, Mont.,
and a son, Jackson Moore, of Torrance, Calif.; two sisters, Kamma Clark of
Lyle and Henrietta Mogren of North Bonneville; five grandchildren, five
great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, December 1 at 11
a.m. in Gardners Chapel in White Salmon with the Rev. Richey officiating.
Interment was in Balch Cemetery in Lyle.
