ANNICE D. NOGLE
Mrs. Annice D. Nogle, 70, a resident of Grass Valley,
died in The Dalles after an extended illness on Dec. 23, 1994.
She was born April 1, 1924 in The Dalles to Mark and
Ina Kayser. She grew up in Centerville graduating with the last class of
Centerville High School.
She attended business college in Yakima for two years
and a married Max Nogle on Jan. 12, 1945 at Centerville. She worked in the
post office in Klickitat, Wash., and in Kent, and retired as postmaster in
Grass Valley.
She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge in Grass Valley,
served on the city council and was a member of the Retired Post Masters,
the Daughters of the American Revolution, the Sherman County Home Extension
and the Grass Valley Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Max, Grass Valley; three
daughters, Kim MacRae, Centerville; Jill Milton, Torrence, Wyo., and Toni
Burns, of Redmond; a son, Patrick Nogle, Grass Valley; seven grandchildren;
four sisters, Patsy Palmer and Dawn Thomas, Milton-Freewater, Sylvia Patnode,
Hermiston, and Dyan Catlin, Burlington, Wash.; two brothers, Keith Kayser,
Centerville, and Mark Kayser, Ellensburg. Her parents and another brother,
Larry Kayser, died earlier.
Funeral services will be held Monday, Dec. 26, at 1 p.m.,
in the New Life Assembly of God Church in Goldendale with Pastor Steve Brown
officiating. Interment will be in the Centerville Cemetery under the care
of Erdman Funeral Home.
Pallbearers included Sam Kayser, Brent Palmer, Russell
Wilson, Doug Finegan, Allan MacRae and Gary Miller.
Memorials may be made to the Scholarship Fund of Sherman
County Home Extension Service.
