SCHMID RITES TO BE FRIDAY

     Adolph Schmid was born to Peter and Elizabeth Schmid at Trout Lake, Washington April 15, 1898. He passed away at Hanby's Nursing Home in Hood River, Oregon, after an extended illness on July 28th.
     Funeral services will be held at the Trout Lake Presbyterian Church on Friday, July 31st, at 1:30 p.m. with interment at the Trout Lake Cemetery. The Rev. Clarence Twigg will officiate. Friends may give memorial gifts to the church if they wish.
     Surviving Mr. Schmid is his wife: Eava Schmid of Trout Lake; two sons, Delbert and Leonard Schmid of Trout Lake; a daughter, Janice Fay Dollar of Klickitat, Washington; fourteen grandchildren; two brothers, Walter and John of Trout Lake; and four sisters, Esther Jennings of Trout Lake, Rose Sickafoose of Oakland, California, Bertha Kaiser and Elizabeth Schmid of North Bend, Oregon.

ADOLPH SCHMID FUNERAL FRIDAY

     Funeral services for Adolph Schmid, 66, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, July 31 in the Trout Lake Presbyterian church. Gardners are in charge of arrangements. The Rev. Clarence Twigg will officiate. Burial will be in Trout Lake cemetery.
     Mr. Schmid was born April 15, 1898 in Trout Lake where he lived all his life. He died Tuesday, July 28, at Hanby's Nursing Home, Hood River, Ore.
     He is survived by his widow, Eava Schmid, and son, Delbert and Leonard, all of Trout Lake; daughter, Janice Faye Dollar of Klickitat; sisters, Esther Jennings of Trout Lake; Rose Sickafoose of Oakland, Calif., Bertha Kaiser and Elizabeth Schmid, both of North Bend, Ore.
     He was a member of Mt. Adams Elks Lodge 1868 of White Salmon.
     His family suggests that memorial gifts may be sent to Trout Lake Presbyterian Church.

"Trout Lake"

     On Fri. in the school Gym, funeral services were held for Adolph Schmid. Coming up for the funeral were Eava Schmid's four sisters of Sweet Home and Foster, Oregon, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Smith, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Forbes, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Notinger, and Gladys Welty, also here for the funeral of their uncle were Mr. Wells, Mrs. Libby of Portland and Mr. and Mrs. Forrest Schmid of Renton and his sisters Bertha Kaiser and Elizabeth Schmid of North Bend.
     After the funeral a dinner was served to the relatives and out of town guests at the Trout Lake Grange Hall.
