ANNA TROH

     Anna Ellen Troh, a longtime Glenwood resident, Died Aug. 8, 1999, at Skyline Hospital in White Salmon, at the age of 79.
     Mrs. Troh was born Feb. 25, 1928 in Lamoni, Iowa, to Walter E. and Molly (Travis) Spitznogle. She moved to Idaho at the age of four and then to Toppenish. She moved to Glenwood at age seven. She met her husband Norman at school in Glenwood. They were married on July 3, 1936 and made their home on a farm in Glenwood.
     Mrs. Troh ran the café in Glenwood for four or five years; she sold Stanley products; was a beauty counselor; and sold Avon products. She was a member of the Church of Christ but attended Glenwood Baptist Church. She was a lifetime member of Glenwood Grange #94; was instrumental in starting in the AARP in Klickitat County, of which she was a charter member; and was a member of the Camas Prairie Pioneers.
     She took correspondence courses in writing and foreign language. She loved to write, swim, work with arts and crafts, sing, dance and play the piano.
     Mrs. Troh is survived by her husband, Norman, Glenwood; daughters Molly Jo Patrick, Oregon City, Ore., and Rose Anne Woolery, goldendale; sons David Troh, Graham, and Douglas Troh, Glenwood; nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, six great, great-grandchildren and two nephews.
     Funeral services for Mrs. Troh will be held Thursday, August 12, 1999, at 1 p.m. at the Gardner Funeral Home in White Salmon, with Pastor Wesley Barnett officiating. Interment will be at Mt. Adams Cemetery in Glenwood.
     The arrangements were handled by Gardner Funeral Home.

ANNA ELLEN TROH

     Anna Ellen Troh, 79, of Glenwood, died Aug. 8, 1999 in White Salmon.

     Survivors include her husband, Norman Troh, of Glenwood; two daughters, Molly Jo Patrick of Oregon City, and Rose Anne Woolery of Goldendale; two sons, David N. Troh, of Graham; and Douglas E. Troh, of Glenwood; two nephews: nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
     A funeral service was held Aug. 12 at Gardner Funeral Home in White Salmon, with Pastor Wesley Barnett officiating. Burial was at Mt. Adams Cemetery in Glenwood. Arrangements are under the care of Gardner Funeral Home, in White Salmon. Donations may be made to the charity of donor's choice.
